Bodies of 12 Nepalis who died when their vehicle became target of Taliban suicide bomber on Monday have arrived home.
A chartered aircraft of the Nepal Airlines landed at the Tribhuvan International Airport with the bodies around 3:10 pm. The aircraft had left Kathmandu at 3 am this morning following government decision to send it to Afghanistan to bring the bodies of the deceased.
24 other Nepalis working for a private security company Sabre Security have also returned home on the same flight.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister KP Oli, Home Minister Shakti Basnet, Minister for Labour Dipak Bohara and other high government officials reached the airport to offer condolences and express sympathies to the families of the deceased and to receive the bodies.
