The United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) has boycotted the House meeting on Friday. Lawmakers from UDMF walked out from the parliament meeting today, expressing disappointment to government's failure to address their demands over new constitution. Lawmakers from UDMF walked out from the parliament meeting today, expressing disappointment to government for not addressing their demands over new constitution. Speaking in the beginning of the House meeting today, Federal Socialist Forum Nepal (FSFN) Vice-Chairman Ashok Rai accused the government of not paying heed to the demands raised by Madhes-based political parties. Rai further demanded independent probe on killings during the four-month long protest in Tarai-Madhesh region. He also criticized the government for not expediting reconstruction and grant distribution effort in quake affected districts. Although the UDMF, walked out from the House meeting, pre-budget discussion is underway in the House.
