At least 31 people killed, scores hurt in Kavre bus plunge
At least 30 have died in bus accident in Kavrepalanchowk district. Assistant Chief District Officer Bhim Kanta Sharma told Setopati that 30 others were injured when the bus (Ba 3 Kha 106) plunged some 300 meters down the road. Quoting locals, he said that the accident occurred at around 1 pm. Nepal Army's MI-17 chopper has been deployed for rescue. ---
At least 20 people have died after a passenger bus veered off the road and plunged down in Deurali 7 of Kavrepalanchok district today afternoon. The District Police Office, Kavre informed that 30 others were injured in the accident. The bus was heading toward Kattike Deurali of the Kavre from Kathmandu. Rescue is on and a team of police has left for the incident site from district headquarter Dhulikhel.
