CPN-UML senior leader Jhalanath Khanal on Sunday that his party had no objection in leaving the government after losing the majority. Speaking at the parliament today during the discussion over the no-confidence motion, Khanal said that UML will not deviate from a democratic process of forming and leaving a government. Khanal’s remark comes at a time when Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is auguring that a new government can’t be formed as per Article 298 of the constitution.

He added that the no-confidence motion filed at the parliament was unimaginable. “There was no importance of the motion that we are currently discussing,” he said, “But, we are discussing an insignificant proposal.”
